How to Start Outsourcing Your EDI with Roundhouse.

Whether you've been doing EDI for years and now want to outsource to improve efficiencies and reduce labor costs or you are just starting out, Roundhouse can
get you started effortlessly.

If you already have a UCC number, getting started is as easy as:
The nuts and bolts.

Getting Started if you DON'T have a UCC number:

1) Obtain a UCC number
You need a UCC Company Prefix Number from GS1US (formerly the Uniform Code Council), which is unique "identifier" for your company. GS1US assigns Prefix Numbers (formerly called UCC Numbers) and maintains a database assuring no one is assigned the same number.

2) UPC catalog management
It is necessary to register your products with the UPC (Universal Product Code) catalog database. Roundhouse can create these numbers and upload them to QRS (now Inovis) on your behalf. You submit minimal information, and we take care of the rest.

3) Set up your roundhouse EDI services account
Simply complete EDI Trading Partner Setup Form with what you need: Download this form. Fax completed forms to (212) 897-6730 or call (212) 244-8081 x. 3910.

4) Set up a trading relationship with your retailers
Every retailer has unique requirements. It can be a complicated process that may include testing and audits to be accepted. Roundhouse knows the requirements intimately because we speak to the EDI departments of the major retailers every day. We can fulfill this part of the process on your behalf – saving you energy and time.
